The Miami Valley Regional Center For Sustainability is a new local non profit organization that is being formed to make life better in our area by engaging in radical resourcefulness.
We are now in the process of renovating our facility (the building shown above), at which time it will become our organization headquarters, and home to the sustainability museum and education center.
On September 1st, we started a waste diversion program that is capturing construction materials that were going to the landfill, and repurposing them in our facility. To see what we are currently collecting, and to find out how you or your company/organization can participate, go to our landfill diversion page.
Look through the other pages on this site to learn how we plan to take this huge building off grid, raise all our own funds without depending on grants or donations, create a sustainability museum at an extremely low cost, . . . and everything else about future plans for our facility.
